If you have welcomed a new puppy or dog into your household but are struggling with unwanted behaviour we offer our  ‘New Pawrents’ Workshop
a puppy and dog training (for humans) refresher course, for those who want  a more positive relationship with their dog no matter what age they are.

What to expect from a ‘New Pawrents’ Workshop
New Paws workshops offer information, tips and advice to help you make the right choices for you and your new furry member of the family. This specific course looks at the root cause of common behavioural issues and promotes positive reinforcement techniques to help you adjust for a better outcome.   You will have an opportunity during the Q&A to ask questions specific to your situation.

How many people are there on a course?
We will only allow a maximum of 12 participants in a workshop but usually aim for a smaller group so you can get to know each other. In a human-only group environment (we don’t train puppies, we train you!), participants can discuss issues with the trainer so others who may be experiencing the same problem don’t feel alone and can learn, as well as picking up other top tips.

What will be taught in the workshop?
In this training we cover but are not limited to the following topics:
Ø pack mentality  Ø positive reinforcement  Ø agreeing the house rules  Ø puppy / dog proofing the house  Ø the toy box for training  Ø creating safety / sleep zones  Ø toilet re-training   Ø basic obedience  Ø greetings in the home  Ø collars, leads & harnesses  Ø lead walking  Ø recall training  Ø distress signals  Ø socialisation tips

Who will teach the workshop?
The workshops are delivered by our passionate, qualified, and experienced Dog Behaviourist and Trainer Paul Barnett who specialises in aggressive and anxious behaviour – his philosophy? Don’t Rehome, Rehab!

What is the cost?
£90 per person
We encourage families and households to attend workshops together, so the training is consistent for the puppy. Talk to us about a multi-buys for larger groups or ask about our private sessions by calling 07724 657093 or register online below:
